NJSS will collect, use and disclose information only in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Statement. By using our website or services, the user consents to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION A. GENERAL WEBSITE BROWSING NJSS collects basic, anonymous information of all visitors to the website for statistical analysis purposes, including browser type, referring domain, Internet Protocol (IP) address, page visits, time spent on pages, etc. This information is used to improve the website and subsequently the user experience.
B. REGISTRATIONS (SYMPOSIUM, MEMBERSHIP, ETC.) When a user registers on the NJSS website for an Educational Symposium, Membership, etc., all basic contact information entered into the form is collected. This information is used by the NJSS for verification and contact purposes only.
If a registration process involves payment, no credit card information is stored at any point in the payment pathway.
C. CORRESPONDENCE If the NJSS is contacted through the website, e-mail, mail, etc., copies of the correspondence may be retained, including any information disclosed by the user. This information is kept to keep the NJSS records up to date, and for later reference.

NJSS never sells information, nor does it release information to third parties unless specifically defined below.

C. USER CONTACT INFORMATION User contact information submitted through forms or correspondence is stored in a secure NJSS database as well as the NJSS Gmail account. This information is used by the NJSS for personalized correspondence expressly related to the reason for the information submission. Names and contact information of NJSS members may be displayed in a secure, members-only directory. This information is not shared outside the NJSS.
D. PAYMENT INFORMATION Credit Card information is securely processed through Authorize.net and CyberSource. None of this information is stored at any point in the payment pathway, nor is it shared with anyone, including the NJSS itself.

NJSS is committed to maintaining a high level of security to protect users. All web pages where users submit personal information are verifiably secured, as indicated by the lock symbol in the address bar, the https in the page address, and secure site seals. The NJSS website is kept up to date in all aspects to ensure the best security available, and is approved by Authorize.net, CyberSource, and security plugins. Authorize.net and CyberSource are also committed to the highest level of information security.
